Thank you for pre-registering for the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia's 2025 - 26 Jr. Model United Nations program! Please note that this pre-registration form indicates your school's interest in the program and is not your official registration. Official registration for Jr. Model United Nations will open in September 2026.

The World Affairs Council of Philadelphia seeks to create positive and meaningful experiences in which students have the opportunity to engage with peers from a variety of backgrounds and communities.  As a result, World Affairs has limited funds to support students from schools without abundant resources. If your school requires financial assistance to participate in Jr. Model United Nations, please contact Kate Whitman Kamara, Director of Education - Middle Schools, at kkamara@wacphila.org upon registration.
Program Events

  1. Cultural Diplomacy Conference - January, 2026
    The Cultural Diplomacy Conference will kick-off the 2025-2026 Jr. Model UN program with gallery tours and an interactive session on diplomacy from the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia.

  2. Preparatory Conference - March, 2026
    At the Preparatory Conference, World Affairs staff will walk students through an introduction to the United Nations, the sustainable development goals and resolution writing.

  3. Final Conference - May, 2026
    At the Jr. Model United Nations Final Conference, students will simulate the UN General Assembly by proposing solutions to global problems as delegates from their assigned countries.
